景柯艾（西安美术学院油画系副主任）: 这些作品是从油画系2002届41位同学的毕业创作中选出来的。炎黄艺术中心本意是想邀请所有作品来京,但因同期有别的展览,场地不够,只能选出19位。这19位同学的作品风格比较多样。 从草图到作品完成,我们与同学们力求达到统一,作品以最初的感受与冲动为基础,所选的题材一定是自己最想画的。我们认为,没有过时的题材与画法。现在这种面貌是严格执行教学计划和灵活教学方法的结果。一年级开始,我们就创造了一个宽松的学习环境,给予了同学们更多的鼓励。同学在学习开始最需要的是树立信心与兴趣,我们与同学们相互交流有关音乐、建筑、设计、电影时尚等讯息,相互扩大了资讯量。同学们尖锐的目光对我们有很大的帮助,随着社会的发展,教师过去拥有的艺术经验在交流中也会感到不够适应,这也是此次创作过程中留给我们的问题。
Jing Ke Ai (Deputy Director of the Department of Oil Painting, Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts): These works were selected from the graduation works of 41 students from 2002 Department of Oil Painting. Yanhuang Art Center intended to invite all works to come to Beijing, but due to different exhibitions over the same period, the venue is not enough, only 19 can be selected. The 19 students’ styles are quite varied. From the sketches to the completion of the work, we and our students strive to achieve reunification. The work is based on the initial feelings and impulses. The selected theme must be the one that we want to draw most. In our opinion, there are no obsolete themes and paintings. This face is now the result of a rigorous implementation of teaching programs and flexible teaching methods. The first grade, we have created a relaxed learning environment, giving students more encouragement. The most important thing students need at the beginning of their studies is to build up their confidence and interest. We exchanged information with students about music, architecture, design, fashion and so on, expanding mutual information. The sharp eyes of the students are very helpful to us. With the development of society, the artistic experiences of teachers in the past may feel inadequate in the exchange. This is also a question left to us during the creative process.
