英语听力能力是体现综合语言应用能力的重要因素之一,也是英语专业学生学习的基础。听力水平会直接影响到整个学习过程和日常交际的流畅程度,因此听力教学是专业英语教学重要的基础课程。但是当前听力教学仍然存在着相当多的问题,大部分学生的听力能力难以适应学习的需求。本文尝试将内容型教学法应用于英语专业听力教学之中,进一步探讨主题模式、保护模式和辅助模式的实际应用策略,旨在全面提高英语专业学生的听力水平。
English listening ability is one of the important factors that reflect the ability of comprehensive language application. It is also the basis of English majors’ learning. The level of hearing will directly affect the fluency of the whole learning process and daily communication, so listening teaching is an important basic course in professional English teaching. However, there are still quite a few problems in current listening teaching, and most students’ listening ability is difficult to adapt to the learning needs. This paper attempts to apply content-based approach to English listening teaching, and further explores the practical application strategies of thematic mode, protection mode and auxiliary mode, in order to improve the listening proficiency of English majors in an all-round way.
