豫棉1号豫棉1号原名新棉278,是我所以陕棉4号为母本、刘庄1号(中棉所3号选系)为父本杂交选育而成的。1981年12月经河南省农作物品种审定委员会第二次审定后正式命名为豫棉1号,并决定在河南省推广。1982年种植面积50万亩左右。1979—1981年参加河南省棉花品种区域试验,三年共53点次,平均亩产皮棉177.3斤,比对照“鲁棉1号”增产14.18%,三年均居第一,二位。在黄河流域棉花品种区试中,
