刑警队长的主要任务,一是负责本队的行政管理工作,二是负责刑侦工作基础建设,三是负责指挥案件的侦破,四是抓好队伍建设,五是协调好各方面关系,取得各界的支持和协作。那么,怎样才能当好刑警队长呢?要具备较高的素质1.刑警队长要具备较高的政治素质。一是要在国家、民族危难时刻,在人民生命财产受到侵害时挺身而出,仗义挥剑。二是要树立政权观念。公安机关是人民民主专政政权的组成部分,在这个大前提下,刑警的任务归根结底是为了维护国家政权的稳定与统一。所以,刑警队长要时刻把自己的工作看成是巩固人民民主专政政权的需要;要把自己的工作时刻与国家、民族的利益紧密联系起来。三是要树立全局观念。刑侦部门是公安机关的一个重要职能部门,因此,刑警队长必须胸怀全局,视野开阔。把刑侦工作纳入全局工作的轨迹四是要牢固树立法制观念。作为一名刑警队长,单靠大智大勇还不够,还必须善于运用法律武器来保护自己,惩治犯罪。
