花塘村位于慈溪市附海镇西部,全村现有1137户、2965人,耕地2500亩。近年来,村党总支、村委会坚持以科学发展观为指导,以强村富民为主线,以旧村改造整治为契机,以组织发展为载体,带领全村群众创建全面小康示范村,使花塘村走上了经济繁荣、生活富裕,社会安定、生态良好的社会主义现代新农村的通衢大道。2004年,全村实现工农业总产值4.89亿元,村级集体可支配收入233万元,农民人均纯收入8279元。
