1955年9月号“化学通报”上刊載了琴仿同志的“初中化学‘化学反应、原子、元素符号及分子式’的教学”一文,今对其中元素一节的敬法,提出我的意見,並希同志们指正。原文:(?)……“元素、單質、原子”三个名称,在初中教学中常觉得难於区别,我們可以这样的認識:“元素”是原子的种类名,“單質”是能存在的实际物質,“原子”是組成这种物質分子的微粒。例如:一种元素叫做硫,它可能有斜方硫、單斜硫及彈性硫三种單質,这种不同的單質是因硫元素的原子結合成不同的分子
