2011版《英语课程标准》中明确指出:教师要根据教学目标、学习内容、学校条件和学生实际情况,积极学习并在课堂教学中合理利用各种现代教育技术(如幻灯、投影、录音、录像、VCD、计算机辅助教学,交互式电子白板等),使其能科学地、合理地、恰当地、简约地为提高学生英语学习效果而服务。电化教学作为一种教学手段,合理应用到英语课堂中,是对英语教学方法和手段的补充和发展,有利于提高课堂教学效率,对于激发学生学习兴趣、培养学生综合语言运用能力有着十分重要的意义。
