目前桃树生产中栽培的多为中熟品种,早熟品种较少,而且品质较差。为适应市场需要,弥补初夏市场水果短缺的状况,我院从1961年开始进行早熟桃品种的选育工作。我们以仁圃水蜜为母本,大红袍为父本,经有性杂交,于1962年春播种,获得杂种苗23株。1965年开始结果,其中1号单株成熟期明显早于当地早熟品种四月红,亦比亲本品
