新民主主义时期的“民族的、科学的、大众的体育”的方针与我国历史上封建时代的体育、半封建半殖民地的体育和外国资本主义的体育思想形成了鲜明的对比,发生了质的变异。它的提出是具有中国特色的社会主义体育思想发展的里程碑。从思想路线的角度观察,我国社会主义体育思想具有三个特点:1 具有指导思想上的一元性.中国社会主义体育思想从它的产生和发展都始终贯串着一条红线,就是坚持马列主义、毛泽东思想的指导地位,表现出指导思想上的一元性。
