各位代表:我受市人民政府的委托,向大会作政府工作报告,请予审议。一、一九八六年的主要工作情况一九八六年,我市在省委、省人民政府和市委的领导下,认真贯彻执行了党中央、国务院一系列的方针、政策和市八届人大四次会议关于政府工作的决议,坚持四项基本原则,把改革放在首位,扩大对外经济技术合作,加快企业技术改造,加强城市基础设施建设,大力发展商品经济。在抓紧物质文明建设的同时,加强社会主义精神文明建设,加强城市管理和社会治安的综合治理,推进美化广州城的工作。全市形势很好,政治上安定团结,经济稳定
