China Institute of vacuum access and measurement academic exchange was held in Beihai, Guangxi from May 22 to May 24, 2001. The vacuum technology of universities, research institutes and enterprises from all over the country as well as the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Experts, scholars attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Jiang Dikui, deputy director of Vacuum Access and Measurement Professional Committee of China Vacuum Society and researcher of Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Center.
