本文从女性文学批评的角度分析安吉拉.卡特的作品《与狼为伴》。这篇故事改编于著名童话《小红帽》,但却是为成年读者而写。作者在文中加入哥特式元素,各种象征意义的符号,以及女性主义,创作了一篇挑战父权社会价值观念的童话。通过女主角的描写,改写了传统女性的形象,刻画出一位独立、大胆并且有智慧的女性。这个童话成功颠覆了传统童话。
This article analyzes Angela Carter’s work Wolves and Companions from the perspective of female literary criticism. The story adapted from the famous fairy tale “Little Red Riding Hood”, but it is written for adult readers. By adding Gothic elements, symbols of symbolic significance, and feminism, the author has created a fairy tale that challenges the social values of patriarchy. Through the description of the heroine, rewriting the image of the traditional women, depicting an independent, bold and intelligent women. This fairy tale successfully subverts the traditional fairy tale.
