The Sixth Plenary Session of the 16th Central Committee of the Party adopted the “Decision of the CPC Central Committee on Several Major Issues concerning Building a Harmonious Socialist Society.” Building a socialist harmonious society is a historic decision made by the party Central Committee with Comrade Hu Jintao as general secretary at the height of the overall situation and at the strategic level. This decision fully reflects the major achievements our party has made in theory and in practice since the 16th National Party Congress and reflects the fact that the building of a prosperous and democratic democracy
