虽然我们知道原因不明的高血压是最常见的类型,然而研究已知原因的高血压是很有启示性的。首先想讲一下动脉压变为异常的机理。当我们用血压计袖带测压时,常不容易理解到我们是在测量一个由许多因素控制的血液动力学变数,亦不容易理解到和阻力一样,流量是决定血压的重要因素。实际上,压力=流量×阻力;平均动脉压=心排出量×总周围血管阻力。除心排出量和总周围血管阻力外,还有二个因素直接影响动脉压。这二个因素是主动脉阻抗和舒张期动脉血容量。只有通过改变这些因素,血压才有改变。
