经过考察论证,得出:“之子于归”的“于”应释为“往”。随着语素化进程,“于归”逐渐变成一个词,“于”的意思逐渐淡化。
After investigation and argumentation, it is concluded that “in ” should be interpreted as “toward ” in “son of”. With the morpheme process, “in return ” gradually become a word, “in ” meaning gradually diminished.
