編輯同志: 我參加原建國中學(現改為河北滄縣第二中學)教學工作以來,感到我校存在着一些問題,沒有得到應有的解决,現在正當學期結束的時候,願意提出個人意見,供领導改進工作的參考。一、不主動團結要求進步的教師我校现有教師十二人(行政人員在外)中,有五人是一九五二年新吸收,佔所有教師人數百分之四十。他們都要求進步,願意在黨的教育下,逐步提高自己。但我校領導對教師們這種要求進步的願望,却是漠不關心,無形中放棄了團結改造知識分子的責任。另方面,领導上對教師的思想及生活情况不了解,使得一些錯誤的思想作風,得不到及時糾正,教師的困難,也不能幫助他們很好地解决。希望領導上徹底改變領導作風,及時掌握情况,提高教師的社會主義覺悟。只有團結教師才能

Teachers who Do Not Actively Unite for Progress The five existing teachers in our school (administrative staff) have been newly recruited in 1952, accounting for 40% of all teachers. They all demand progress and are willing to gradually improve themselves under the education of the party. However, our leaders ’indifference to teachers’ desire for progress is irrelevant and virtually abolishes the responsibility of uniting and transforming intellectuals. On the other hand, the leadership does not understand the teachers ’thoughts and living conditions, making some wrong ideas and styles, failing to correct them in time, teachers’ difficulties, or helping them to solve them well. We hope that on the leadership, we will thoroughly change the style of leadership, grasp the situation in a timely manner, and improve teachers’ socialist consciousness. Only teachers can be united
