Malik’s films are introspection of life, love, nature, and human condition, deep and intimate; full of existential narratives and long shots about the functioning of Mother Nature. Malik’s Tree of Life is the fifth cinematic film of his creative career. The film’s protagonist is a 12-year-old boy named Jack, living in the Midwest. His mother is optimistic, idealistic, and father is pessimistic. Jack
