在傅增湘校勘之《滋溪文稿》(民国间东海徐氏刻本,校本乃用李盛铎所藏明抄本)卷四末叶有这样一条题识:“(癸酉)十一月二十有七日,为德化李氏题主。犯严寒来津,仍寓昔年旧楼。夜静客散,遂研朱勘完此卷,凡改订三十字。清泉逸叟记。”题主,是指在逝者出丧之日,亲友中善书而有名望者点书牌位“某某神主”“主”字上那一点划。由此可见,李盛铎卒年必在癸酉年。时为癸酉年冬月,已经进入公元1934年,1934年元旦为癸酉年十一月十六日。
