随着我国航海和运输事业的发展,船舶越来越多,尤其是一些吨位较大的船只,正在不断地制造出来。所以,如何扑救船舶火灾是值得研究的一个问题。船舶火灾多发生在船舱中。灭火方法有多种。封舱加惰性气体灭火是比较有效的方法。1.封舱灭火的理论根据。封舱灭火的方法是基于物质燃烧原理。物质在燃烧时需有足够的氧气,而空气中的含氧量一般为21%,在这种情况下,任何可燃物质都能发生燃烧。但是,如果空气中氧气的含量降低到14—18%时,大多数可燃物质便不能再继续燃烧。物质在燃烧时所需要的氧气含量是很大的。
