我国“八五”期间是铁路建设投资最多、建设步伐最快、成就最辉煌的五年。为了展示我国铁路建设取得的各项伟大业绩,1996年9月1日,邮电部发行了《铁路建设》特种邮票一套4枚,再现了重点建设工程大秦铁路、兰新复线、京九铁路和北京西站的风姿。北京铁路局集邮协会抓住发行铁路专题邮票良机,精心组织印制了一套《铁路建设》极限明信片。明信片图案采用摄影写实手法,规范印制和销戳,是一套符合FIP规则的佳片。
During the “Eighth Five-Year Plan” period, our country has the most investment in railway construction, the fastest pace of construction and the most brilliant achievements in the past five years.
