科左后旗连续三年推广应用灌丛草场建设技术，即采用种植、移栽及平茬更新方法，累计面积达９万亩。经调查，牧草产量提高４．１-４．８倍，直接经济效益和间接经济效益分别是总投资的９．２倍和４．３倍。推广应用灌丛草场建设技术为治理改良科尔沁沙化、退化草场创出了一条新路。
