我们从本期开始将陆续刊出美国著名建筑杂志《Architectural Record》创刊100周年纪念的三篇文章。这三篇文章简述了美国百年建筑发展的历程,它既会给我们办刊人当然也给建筑师们有所启发。从《A·R》的经历中,我们可以了解到建筑学的发展线索和探索未来的方向,也可获知一本权威的建筑杂志在一个国家建筑事业乃至社会发展进步道路上所起到的巨大引导作用,从而增强我国建筑师的责任感,立足本国,自觉从事探索走有中国特色符合中国国情的建筑道路。我们也会从《A·R》的办刊经历、编辑方针等方面有所获益。
From the beginning of this issue, we will continue to publish three articles commemorating the 100th anniversary of the publication of the “Architectural Record” of the famous American architectural magazine. These three articles briefly describe the history of the United States’ century-long architecture development. It will give us an opportunity to run periodicals and of course give architects some inspiration. From the experience of “A·R”, we can understand the development clues of architecture and explore the direction of the future. We can also learn that an authoritative construction magazine has played a huge role in a nation’s construction business and even the progress of social development and progress. Guide the role, thereby enhancing the sense of responsibility of our architects, based on their own country, and consciously engaged in the exploration of Chinese architecture with Chinese characteristics in line with China’s national conditions. We will also benefit from the experience and editorial guidelines of A.R.
