在全国职业教育工作会议上,习近平总书记就加快职业教育发展作出重要指示,强调职业教育是国民教育体系和人力资源开发的重要组成部分,是广大青年打开通向成功成才大门的重要途径。这是改革开放以来党的总书记首次对职业教育工作作出重要指示,体现了新一届中央领导集体对职业教育工作的高度重视和亲切关怀。习总书记特别指出:“要加大对农村地区、民族地区、贫困地区职业教育支持力度,努力让每个人都有人生出彩的机会”。这一重要指示深刻揭示了职业教育是面向人人、面向社会的教育,是实现教育公平的重要途径。
At the National Vocational Education Conference, General Secretary Xi Jinping made important instructions on accelerating the development of vocational education. He emphasized that vocational education is an important component of the national education system and human resources development and is an important way for the majority of young people to open the door to success. This is the first time that the party’s general secretary has made an important instruction on vocational education since the policy of reform and opening up was taken and reflects the great importance and cordial care given by the new central leadership to vocational education. General Secretary Xi pointed out in particular: “We should step up efforts to support vocational education in rural areas, ethnic regions and poor areas and strive to give everyone a chance to make a living.” This important instruction profoundly reveals that vocational education is an education for all and society, and an important way to achieve education fairness.
