11月25日,“2012东莞市盆景协会年度大会”在东莞宾馆隆重举行。这是该协会第七届理事会选举产生后召开的首次全体会员大会。东莞,作为中国改革开放的前沿窗口、中国极具活力和魅力的城市,经济的高速发展为东莞盆景事业的发展带来了巨大的提升空间。东莞丰富的传统盆景技艺和异域风格兼容并收,构成了以岭南特色为主、中西南北交融的盆景文化特色。东莞市盆景协会成立三十年来,始终站在岭南盆景传承与革新的浪头,引领着东莞盆景艺术与产业的发展。协会经常举办市级、省级活动,如2008年在真趣园举办的广东省岭南盆景研讨会等,规模空前,好评如潮;先后涌现出一名中国盆景艺术大师、一名广东岭南盆
November 25, “2012 Dongguan City Bonsai Association annual meeting ” was held in Dongguan Hotel. This is the first plenary session of the Association after the election of the seventh council. Dongguan, as a frontier window of China’s reform and opening up, has a very dynamic and attractive city in China. The rapid economic development has brought tremendous room for improvement in the development of Bonsai in Dongguan. Dongguan rich traditional bonsai skills and exotic style compatible with the income, constitutes a Lingnan features, blending bonsai culture characteristics. Bonsai Association of Dongguan City was founded thirty years ago, has always been standing in the South China Sea bonsai heritage and innovation of the wave, leading the development of art and industry in bonsai in Dongguan. The association often organizes city-level and provincial-level activities such as the Guangdong Lingnan Bonsai Seminar held in 2008 at True Fun Park, which is unprecedented in scale and rave reviews.
