光“宣传”成不了好戏戏曲,一向有宣传教育的作用,早年就流传着“说书、唱戏劝人方”这句话。不过戏曲使人受教育是在不知不觉中,所谓“潜移默化”。如果对观众采取灌输的方法,观众则不会买帐。谁也不愿意花钱到戏院里听大课。某些新编的戏往往把主题思想讲在明面;剧本也不给演员提供发挥才能的基础;或者导演、演员不注意运用技巧,通过细枝末节,表达剧中人的内心。于是就失去诱人的艺术魅力。近时河南省许昌市豫剧团在北京演出的现代戏《倒霉大叔的婚事》,上座好,吸引人,正是由于没有这样的弊病。
