Non-communicable diseases are the major burden of disease in industrialized countries. In developing countries, due to changes in the demographic structure and lifestyle changes, non-communicable diseases have also shown continuous growth. The global disease burden study in 1990 estimates that chronic noncommunicable diseases (hereinafter referred to as chronic diseases) are the first to die in the distribution of deaths in developed countries and many developing countries and globally.
