目前毛皮兽饲用鱼粉质量参差不齐,尤其国产鱼粉,经常出现掺杂掺假现象。鱼粉中通常掺入羽毛、血粉、尿素、铵盐、植物饼粕及麦麸、稻壳、石粉、沙等。以下几种鉴别和检测方法简便易行,供养殖场和专业户参考。1.视觉:正常鱼粉的颜色均为棕黄色;2.嗅觉:正常鱼粉只有正常的全腥味,如果有腥臭味和霉臭味则表明质量不佳;3.触觉:正常鱼粉用手捻呈肉末状,掺假鱼粉则比较粗糙、磨手。如果有结块、发粘或有灰白色现象,表明已酸败或发霉;4.浸泡:样品加5倍水,搅拌后静置,稻壳粉、花生粉、麦麸等浮在上面,沙沉在水底;5.过筛:应有98%通过2～8毫米筛网。(薛勇)
