“私伙局”,是各地群众自发组织的民间乐社的俗称,省港澳均有不少,尤其广州地区和珠江三角洲一带城乡,更如星罗棋布,活动频仍,在大街小巷、树头岸边,可闻声声曲韵,阵阵管弦。这种“私伙局”始于何时,未有详加查考,本文只想根据近年所见所闻作一评述,因为笔者在专业创作之余,一直比较注意业余的戏曲活动,曾被广州、番禺、佛山、顺德、东莞等地多个民间乐社邀作顾问,参加过他们不少的活动,做过辅导工作,又在好些“私伙局”曲艺比赛中担任过评委,对此感受颇为深刻。
