大庆乙烯联合化工厂引进国外年产30万吨乙烯成套装置中的脱甲烷塔(图1)是一重点设备,其操作温度复杂。该塔上段材料为SA203-E,下段材料为SA537(日本神户制钢所提供),化学成分及机械性能见表1。在开箱检查中发现3.5Ni钢焊接部位有多处缺陷,经双方协商决定由外商自代重点设备,并派工人进行修复。在中方配合下于1981年6～10月于大庆现场进行了修复工作。鉴于3.5Ni钢国内使用经验不多,现场补焊及修复经验少,下面将补焊及修复工作的部分情况作一介绍。
