“十五”期间我国经济与社会发展将发生重大转折。与此同时,社会的工业化与信息化进程将进一步加快。在这种情形下,社会对人才的需求标准将发生相应的调整。高等档案教育能否据此进行有效的调整,直接影响高等教育的进一步发展。一、“十五”期间档案高等教育面临的新形势1、市场经济体制进一步完善。受加入WTO的影响,未来几年我国市场经济体制的建设步伐将明显加快。与之相适应,市场经济体制、社会的价值观及其影响将逐步显现。一个重视价值、追逐价值的社会将呈现在我们面前。在这种情况下,档案高等教育能取得何种程度的发展,除了受社会对专业人才的需求数量影响外,还受各办学单位自身办学质量的影响。2、竞争程度进一步提高。市场竞争最终体现在人才竞争上。因此,市场竞争必然导致人才培养上的竞争。近年来,大学之间抢夺优秀生源,对优秀生源施以高额奖励,便是这种竞争的直接体现。此外,竞争还彰显了个性化问题。一个人是否有个性以及个性为社会认可程度,直接影响竞争主体的发展。
