这几年有“经济上去了,道德下来了”的说法,把发展商品经济与道德进步对立起来,从而得出“腐败难免”的悲观结论。我认为:社会主义的道德水平,在总体上是随着社会主义生产力的发展而发展,并呈现出不断上升不断进步的趋势。而某些腐败和丑恶现象并非商品经济发展的本质反映,而是一种扭曲现象。事实是发展社会主义商品经济与道德进步具有一致性。
In recent years, there has been a saying that “economy has gone down and morality has come down.” It has opposed the development of commodity economy and moral progress and has thus reached the pessimistic conclusion that “corruption is inevitable.” In my opinion, the moral level of socialism as a whole has developed along with the development of the socialist productive forces and has shown a tendency of continuous improvement and progress. Some corrupt and ugly phenomena are not the essential reflection of the development of the commodity economy, but a distorted phenomenon. The fact is that there is consistency in developing the socialist commodity economy and moral progress.
