甘祖昌将军生平:甘祖昌(1906?—1986),江西莲花人。1926年,他参加村农民协会,1927年8月加入中国共产党,从此,他把自己的一生无私地奉献给了党的事业。1928年8月,甘祖昌参加中国工农红军,跟随着革命队伍转战南北,参加过二万五千里长征,经历过数次重大战役,为人民的解放事业3次负重伤。荣获八一勋章、独立自由勋章、解放勋章等。1955年被授予
