广州化工厂是氯碱化工厂,在生产中有氯气、氯乙烯、四氯化碳、苯、汞、氰化物(后仃产)等近二十种毒物。全厂接触毒物人数占78.2%,从1965年起陆续发生中毒和吸收的有40多人次,1969年检查,生产“六六六”工人因病缺勤率高达31.8%,严重影响了生产。1970年发生一起严重氰化物中毒事故,其中二人中毒昏迷,经抢救18小时。
Guangzhou Chemical Plant is a chlor-alkali chemical plant. There are nearly 20 kinds of poison such as chlorine, vinyl chloride, carbon tetrachloride, benzene, mercury and cyanide (Houdingding) in the production. The total number of workers exposed to the poison accounted for 78.2%, from 1965 onwards poisoning and absorption occurred after more than 40 people in 1969 inspection, the production of “666” workers absent as high as 31.8% due to illness, seriously affected the production. A serious cyanide poisoning occurred in 1970, of which two were poisoned unconscious and were rescued for 18 hours.
