菲洛嗪(FerroZine,简称FZ)是一种高灵敏性的低铁显色剂,其分子结构: 化学名称为3-(2-吡啶基)-5,6-双(对苯磺酸)-1,2,4-三嗪单钠盐。由于分子中具有(Ferroin Structure)-N=C-C=N-结构,很易与一分子的水生成氢键,并可与某些金属离子如Fe~(2+)、Cu~+、Co~(2+)等配位,形成有色螯合物。与其它具Ferroin结构的低铁试剂如α,α’-联吡啶、1,10-菲洛啉及其衍生物相比,FZ的灵敏度高、水溶性好,在水溶液中测Fe~(2+),摩尔吸光系数ε_(562)=28600,形成的螯合物稳定,pH适用范围广。
