为了加强战备,大力发展汽车工业,需要生产一大批多点焊机,这就必须为这批多点焊机研制一种新的点焊控制器。另一方面,目前各电焊机厂生产的点焊控制器技术上已很陈旧,它们采用了许多电子管,离子管和继电器,程序时间只能依靠电阻电容的充放电来调节,不仅使用不够可靠,并且体积庞大,应该淘汰。因此,生产上迫切希望研制出一种具有现代技术水平的新控制器,它不仅能供多点焊机使用,也能代替目前生产的点焊控制器以供一般点焊机使用。
