光量计是快速、准确测量光源激发试样发出的各种元素特征谱线的光强来确定试样成分的一种大型精密物理光学仪器,普遍用於炉前冶炼和成品分析。随着计算机技术的引入,光量计的测量方法得到了不断更新。分段积分法就是近几年来国外光量计普遍采用的一种最理想的光电流测量方法。由於试样在激发过程中受光源参数变化、电网波动、激发时间不同、火花室气氛、环境的改变、试样均匀性和表面腐蚀的差异等等多种影响,每一个火花强度总不尽相同,因而在大部分场合不采用瞬时测量的方法,而采用积分测量的方法。这可以克服光强的波动的影响得到一个平均的较为稳定的测量效果。
