一、形态特征 成虫 中国曲胫步甲(以下简称步甲)是一种大型步甲,全体略呈琵琶形,故有琵琶虫之称。长约25～36毫米,宽约9～13毫米,以翅的后半部处最宽。全体棕黑色至黑色,前胸背面略带紫兰光泽。头略呈梨形,密布小刻点。触角约为体长的2/5,共11节,基部1～4节黑色光亮,5～11节棕黑色有褐色绒毛。上颚长大锋利,常伸出在前方。前胸背板横阔,前宽后窄,适于前、中足活动。鞘翅黑褐色,密布细小刻点,点内常为铜色,光彩烁烁;
