Elementary school mathematics is one of the most important courses in primary school, which plays an important role in developing students ’thinking mode and improving students’ innovative ability. With the development of quality education in recent years, the mathematics teaching in our country has been innovated and developed. Both the teaching methods and teaching philosophy have undergone major changes and have shown an unprecedented pattern of development. In particular, the teaching methods present even more diversified development status quo. The problem-guided method is presented as a brand-new teaching method and is a student-centered teaching mode. The problem-based approach not only meets the basic requirements of primary mathematics teaching, but also promotes the sustainable development and innovation development of primary mathematics. The article briefly analyzes elementary mathematics teaching
