坚持不懈地贯彻落实“科教兴琼”战略,不断推进科技创新,对加快我省民族地区的全面发展,实现全面小康社会的建设目标意义重大。2003年年末,省政协副主席林安彬带领省政协民族和宗教委员会调研组深入到东方、白沙、昌江、乐东等市县,就海南民族地区科技工作开展专题调研,掌握了大量的第一手材料。在征求有关单位和领导、政协委员及代表人士意见,进行充分讨论和研究的基础上,调查组针对如何进一步推进科技创新,促进民族经济发展提出了六点建议。这些建议因地制宜,有的放矢,有很强的指导意义。
To unswervingly implement the strategy of “building a prosperous economy through science and education” and continuously promote scientific and technological innovation are of great significance to speeding up the all-round development of ethnic areas in our province and achieving the goal of building an overall well-to-do society. The end of 2003, the provincial CPPCC Vice Chairman Lin Anbin led the Provincial CPPCC National and Religious Commission research group in-depth to the East, Baisha, Changjiang, Ledong and other cities and counties to carry out special investigations of scientific and technological work in Hainan’s ethnic areas, mastered a large number of first-hand material. Based on the full discussion and study of the opinions of relevant units, leaders, CPPCC members and representatives, the investigation team put forward six suggestions on how to further promote technological innovation and promote the development of national economy. These suggestions according to local conditions, targeted, there is a strong guiding significance.
