在自适应波束形成器中,各路抽头延迟线滤波器抽头上的权系数,需要按确定的自适应算法实时调整。当权系数很多时,执行自适应算法的运算量很大,因而要求运算速度很高。 本文介绍一种用数字硬件实现自适应算法运算的自适应权调整(Adaptive Weight Ajustment)专用机,简称AWA机。它的时钟频率为10MHz,节拍周期为300ns,完成一个权系数修正的平均时间为1μs。文中对该机的设计思想、系统组成和各部分电路的技术特点都进行了较详细的阐述。
In the adaptive beamformer, the weight coefficients of the taps of the tapped delay line filters need to be adjusted in real time according to the determined adaptive algorithm. When the weighting coefficient is very high, the amount of computation for executing the adaptive algorithm is very large, and thus the computation speed is very high. This paper presents an Adaptive Weight Ajustment Machine, called AWA Machine, which uses digital hardware to implement adaptive algorithm operations. It has a clock frequency of 10MHz and a tick period of 300ns. The average time to complete a weight factor correction is 1μs.
