尖周外科现已构成了根管综合治疗中的一个重要组成部分,有时是尖周疾病唯一的治疗方法。一、目的 1.消除根尖部的副根管和侧枝根管,防止来自根管内残余的坏死牙髓组织的毒素进入尖周组织,引起炎症性反应。 2.使根管系统形成有效的封闭,防止形成渗漉和组织液出现郁积、分解,从而对尖周组织形成激惹。 3.清除尖周区的病理组织。二、适应症 1.根管治疗失败; 2.患牙戴有桩冠,在根管治疗时难以拔除桩钉;有金属冠或固定桥,在根管治疗时难以取下金属冠或固定桥; 3.器械在根管内折断,使另外的器械或根充材料不能通过;
