The “National Comprehensive Prevention and Treatment Plan for Common Diseases by Students” requires that the prevalence of anaemia in the school year should be controlled below 10% by the year 2000 [1]. In order to understand the prevalence of anaemia among students in our province, the author conducted a statistical analysis of the results of anemia index testing in the Hunan Provincial Students’ Physical Health Survey data in 1995 to discuss countermeasures against anemia. 1Objects and Methods The survey on physical health of students in Hunan Province in 1995 was conducted in 1
