An outstanding female writer in the history of contemporary British literature, Doris Lessing, who is considered to be the greatest female writer after Virginia Woolf, has a significant influence in the history of world literature. As an outstanding female writer, Doris Lessing has created many classic feminine images in her works with her unique exquisite brushwork and paid great attention to the feminine issues. With her unique perspective, novel style and keen thinking, she reveals the psychological confusion and living conditions faced by women. This article explores the female consciousness in her works through the analysis of the female images in Doris Lessing’s works.
