1992年初,邓小平怀着对党和社会主义事业高度负责的历史责任感,于1月18日至2月21日,对武昌、深圳、珠海、上海等几个南方城市进行了视察,史称“邓小平南巡”。邓小平在“南巡”过程中,发表了一系列的重要谈话,史称“南方谈话”。这次“南方谈话”,对当时处于改革开放关键时刻的中国,起到了指明航向的作用,使长期争论不休的“姓资”、“姓社”问题得到正确答案。使中国坚持了以经济建设为中心,坚持改革开放的正确航向,开展了新一轮建设热潮。今年是邓小平“南方谈话”发表10周年,人们都在回眸省视10年来的发展历程,无一不高度评价邓小平的“南方谈话”。自年初以来,本刊编辑部陆续收到一批纪念“南方谈话”的文章,其中不乏佳作,都以作者自己的眼光、体会,从不同的角度和层面对“南方谈话”进行再思考、再认识,共同发出了一个心愿:要把邓小平留给我们的伟大精神遗产世代相传,把与“南方谈话”一脉相承的“三个代表”重要思想贯彻和实践好。由于本刊篇幅所限,不可能将这些纪念性文章一一全文刊载。选择几篇“有代表性”的署名文章吧,但细想一下,一枝独秀不是春,几枝鲜花也不是春,满园春色才是真正的春天。因此,我们没有简单地刊登一两篇应景文章,而是摘出众多作者们的主要观点和深刻体会,使纪念邓小平南方?
