Seiya Uyeda and the author recently published a hypothesis that the stress environment in the expanse is favorable for the mineralization of massive ores in black or similar volcanoes and that the compressive stress environment is favorable for the enrichment of porphyry copper deposits (Uyeda and Nisniwaki, 1980). Studies have been conducted on 23 porphyry-type copper mines in the Western Pacific Island arc region (Figure 2) and in some of the most important exploration deposits (metals exceeding 3 x 10-5 tonnes of copper, Figure 1) and have been tested Made a report here.
