在首届中国根艺展中,陈琰先生以《硕果》、《猩猩》、《憨》三件作品独得两枚金牌一枚银牌,名列全国榜首(《硕果》、《憨》两件作品均已被台湾收藏家所收藏)。近年陈先生又应美国美洲中华艺术研究会、香港中国文物展览馆邀请于纽约及香港举办个人作品展。一天我来到他的琢斋陈列室,这里真是个根的世界。凳子、桌子、茶几、果盘、烟缸、笔筒、画筒、壁挂、屏风无处不在“琢”,体现了作者对根艺的探索与痴情。
In the first China Root Art Fair, Mr. Chen Yan won two gold medals and one silver medal in the three works of “Fruit”, “Orangutan” and “Foolishness”, ranking the top in the country (“Fruits” and “Foolishness” Has been collected by Taiwanese collectors).
