From November 25 to November 25, 1996, the Ministry of Communications chaired the review meeting of two specifications (draft for reviewing) of “Gravity Wharf Code” and “Breakwater Code” in Guangzhou. More than 40 academicians such as Liu Jizhou, technical consultant of the Ministry of Communications, Representatives from design, construction, scientific research and universities attended the conference as well as from experts and scholars from universities and normative writing groups.
