陕北山区农民生活仍较艰苦,卫生条件亦差。近数年在该地进行白蛉生态调查时,发现村内特别是住窑内家蝇与蚤类的密度特高。盛夏季节苍蝇活动格外猖獗,农民每进一步都要遭受苍蝇搔扰,使食不得安闲,更不用说休息片刻了。由于家蝇密度高且常常爬在食物上来回的游走,加上它的习性是边吃食、边吐出、边拉便使得食物遭受严重污染,所以当地夏秋间肠道传染病也较严重。
The peasants living in mountainous areas in northern Shaanxi are still in a difficult situation with poor sanitation.
