此次应第十五届中国上海国际艺术节组委会的邀请,赴上海观看了由上海歌剧院创排的音乐剧《国之当歌》。在接邀请电话时,该剧作曲、编剧(合作)李瑞祥简单介绍了一下该剧的主要内容:它是一部主要反映聂耳在上海的革命经历并和田汉一起创作《义勇军进行曲》过程的音乐剧,同时他也谈到了当初他接触到这个题材时欲罢不能的创作冲动,而当我听到该剧是这样一个内容时,心情又何尝不是如此呢?李院长能选择这样的创作题材,也让我对他肃然起敬!对于这出剧,由于我不是艺术方面的专业人士,谈不出专业方面的意见。从整出剧来看,一气呵成。它准确地反映了当时《义勇军进行曲》创作时的社会环境和历史背景;它告诉了大家,后来成为我们的国歌的《义勇军进行曲》就是这样
