临泽县紧紧围绕经济建设中心和加快发展主题,努力探索思想政治工作的新机制、新途径,运用思想政治工作的效能,凝聚人心,为全县经济社会的跨越式发展提供了有力的思想保证和精神动力,使两个文明建设迈上了新台阶。理直气壮地讲大道理加强和改进思想政治工作,就是要教育和引导干部群众树立正确的理想信念,增强贯彻执行党的基本路线的自觉性和坚定性,这是一个大道理。从1999年起,临泽县先后开展了以县级干部、科级干部、普通党员干部为主的理论武装三项工程建设,开展了“三讲”教育、党员先进性教育、“三个代表”重要思想学习教育,实行了干部理论考试制度,组织理论骨干深入乡村开展专题讲座和辅导,使大道理渗透到了全县的方方面面。全县还树立了24个思想政治工作先进典型,使广大人民群众学有榜样,赶有目标,形成了崇尚先进、学习先进、争当先进的良好氛围。
